First of all about that bizarre thought that struck me recently: why I am feeding that very rare animal which is doomed to extinction. Is there really a hope it will survive due to sudden goodwill of its creator? Brrr… What nonsense!
Anyway, here is another idea that you may find useful.
I was thinking about the portal customer search option, why do we need to open a form to enter one or more search criteria fields, then submit the form and get to another screen - the list of results, then click on the result table item to open the third form – the particular person contact details. It becomes very inconvenient and time consuming when you are making several searches at the time. It looks a bit archaic to go forward and backward through all these web forms, don’t you think?
So is it possible to make a customer (employee, in our case) search form more dynamic? In one web form only? By changing only things which VSM allows us to change – queries, templates and client scripts (I mean without the backend code programming)?
